Show them, don’t tell them.
Branwellington & Cat is a creative studio located in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC with a focus on helping performing arts organizations reach new audiences.
Over the last few years, we’ve found that my clients are facing similar challenges: 1) ever-increasing competition for audience’s entertainment dollars, and 2) an aging patron and donor base that needs recouping in ever-greater numbers.
We help our clients attract vital younger ticket-buyers by creating marketing communications that stand out from other entertainment options. Some of my experience working with performing arts organizations include logo, identity and posters for Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company, brochures for Wolf Trap’s Filene Center and Wolf Trap Opera, and brochure, website design and marketing images for Virginia Opera.
We love collaborating with performing arts groups because of the inherent creativity and beauty of the content. We’ve developed a trusted process for collaborating with organizations to uncover the unique, relevant point-of-view that they bring to everything they do – and then giving it life in compelling communications. It starts with wide-ranging discussion and flows into hands-on creative iteration, with other steps along the way.
